・Important Notice Before Booking: Please make sure you possess either a valid International Driving Permit (IDP) issued under the 1949 Geneva Convention or an official Japanese translation of your driver’s license issued by the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF) in order to drive in Japan. In all cases, whether using an IDP or a JAF translation, participants must also carry their original valid passport issued by their home country. Please note that drivers holding licenses issued in Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, or Monaco are required to obtain a JAF-issued Japanese translation of their license. Driver’s licenses issued by countries not covered by the 1949 Geneva Convention (such as China, Indonesia, Mexico, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, etc.) are not valid for driving in Japan.

The Experience

Please arrive at the meeting point at least 30 minutes before your reservation time.
All participants must hold a valid International Driving Permit (IDP) issued in accordance with the 1949 Geneva Convention by an authorized government agency in their home country. – However, participants holding driver’s licenses issued in Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, or Monaco must obtain an official Japanese translation of their license issued by the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF).
Please note that driver’s licenses issued in countries not covered by the 1949 Geneva Convention, such as China, Indonesia, Mexico, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, are not valid for driving in Japan.
All participants must carry the original copy of their International Driving Permit (or, for eligible countries, their original driver’s license together with the JAF-issued Japanese translation) as well as their original passport on the day of the tour.
Participants are required to strictly follow all Japanese traffic laws and regulations.
Drinking alcohol before driving is strictly prohibited.

If you do not arrive at least 30 minutes in advance, you will not be able to participate, and no refunds will be issued. • Pregnant guests or guests with severe hypertension cannot participate • No alcohol before driving • Digital / copy / invalid documents are not accepted (no refunds) • Late arrival / incorrect license → JPY 2,200 change fee per person
